workshops

I give workshops in music theory, arranging and band coaching. All workshops will be tailored to your and your band's need.

In the theory lessons we'll look at the Nashville number system and ear training. Both will be a great addition to your musical skills and make theory a fun new tool in your arsenal!

Arranging is aimed at bands and combo's that want to get more out of their songs. We'll look at the various aspects of a song: structure, sound, tempo, feel, groove etc.

Band coaching is similar to arranging, but with a focus more on the individual instrumentalists and how their parts come together in a song.

guitar lessons

In the private guitar lessons we'll work on what you want to learn:

- songs

- chords and advanced chords (how to make you're own chords)

- improvisation (jazz, blues, rock)

- sound (practical and creative use of pedals, guitar and amp)

- theory (nashville numbers, ear-training)

- timing (the metronome is your friend)

These are aimed at filling the gaps in your musical knowledge:

- Nashville numbers

- ear training

- sight reading (rhythm and melodic)

- modal scales

- jazz chords
