The  first Psalmen voor Nu album I worked on, did both acoustic and electric guitars. It’s one  of the last records recorded in the old mailmen studios. This record really opened up a new area of music for me. I never spend much time listening to blues and american pop records, so getting into it was a lot of fun!

We arranged the record as a band together with producer Minco Eggersman and then spend a week tracking the songs at mailmen. Somehow I ended up micing my own amp, which turned out pretty well:)

As some of the Psalms are over 10 minutes and we sometimes did 5 takes with the band, it was quiet challenging to keep focussed thru-out the take.
