And another super last minute christmas song I produced, this time for Christiana Bohorquez! We started working on monday, figured out what the overal vibe of the song should be and started arranging it. On tuesday I recorded a bunch of percussion, guitars and bass in the morning and late afternoon/evening we worked on all the vocal parts.
On wednesday morning/early afternoon I finished the form and worked on the various sounds. Also came up with a really cool sound for the intro. Started mixing in the afternoon and had a first mix going around 9:00 pm. Then my friend Gert van Immerzeel (Room Service Music) came over to help with the mixing progress. He’s a great mixing engineer, really knows how to get that american sound. We worked through most of the night and the next day Gert mastered the song.
